This movie was suggested to me by my long-lost friend Erin. I borrowed it from my local library and was blown away by it. I won't go in to all the details but it reminded me a little of Pride and Prejudice and other Jane Austen stories. It's a long one with two discs but very worth the time. Another BBC triumph!

YEAAAAAA!! I'm so glad you liked it. I LOVE That movie and MR THORNTON!! wahoo! I did watch the phantom, I am still pretty confused though because for some reason I thought it was a love story and I think the girl (is it cathrine) is VERY MEAN. I had a bit of trouble seeing Gerard butler with his messed up face cause he is pretty hot in other movies, but overall I think the movie was good..too many hangings and I'm confused, maybe I need to watch it again. Maybe you could explain some of it to me one day :)
I LOVE North & South. Every time I tell people about it they ask, "You mean the one with Patrick Swayze?" Um. NO! This is Richard Armitage and he is so beautiful. Anyways, I love it too (I also have a copy). Anytime you need a BBC fix come on over - I have lots. Now you need to see Our Mutual Friend, Bleak House and all the Jane Austen classics. P.S. Have you been watching Masterpiece on Sunday nights?
